DorotheaDr Dorothea Soeding
MD (Germany) FRACGP DRANZCOG AAAM Dip Dermatology

Dr Soeding graduated in 1990 from Muenster University in Germany. She completed her postgraduate training in Germany, the United Kingdom and Australia. She is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) and holds the Diploma of Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (DRANZCOG).

A special interest in skin conditions led her to competing the Diploma of Practical Dermatology at Cardiff University (UK), and certification by the Board of American Academy of Aesthetic Medicine. She is appointed Research Fellow in the Department of Dermatology within the Royal Melbourne Hospital.

Furthermore, with an interest in complementary medicine, Dr Soeding has trained in herbal medicine through the Southern Cross Herbal School and is a member of the Australian College of Nutritional and Environmental Medicine (ACNEM). She enthusiastically participates in ongoing professional education and has acted as an examiner for the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners.

MirielleMs Mirielle Schreuders
Practice Nurse, Dermal Clinician MNP BHSc DT Dip BT

Mirielle is a senior Dermal Clinician and a registered nurse, with a passion for promoting skin health and preventative health care. She has extensive nursing experience and was recently awarded a Masters in Nursing Practice from Monash University. She has also graduated from Victoria University with a Bachelor of Health Science in Clinical Dermal Therapy. Throughout her career, she has lectured and supervised students at Victoria University, trained clinicians and nurses in laser and light therapies, written multiple skin and health articles for publication. Her professional standards are actively maintained by attending conferences, seminars and workshops, ensuring she is up to date with cutting edge developments in her field.

Mirielle is the Continuing Education Officer for the Australian Society of Dermal Clinicians, a member of the Australian Dermatology Nurse Association and the Australian Skin Cancer College.

Mirielle provides advanced dermal treatments for all skin conditions, with a unique approach to skin analysis and general wellbeing. Her knowledge and experience support Dr Soeding’s approach to patient care, in particular with their skin concerns, including wound healing, skin health and ageing. She plays an active role in skin cancer education and assists Dr Soeding during procedures and in all aspects of nursing care.

Dermal Clinician BHSc DT Dip BT

Linda is a senior Dermal Clinician with over 12 years of industry experience. She graduated from Victoria University with a Bachelor of Health Science in Clinical Dermal Therapies. Linda is actively involved in postgraduate teaching, lecturing in Dermal Therapy at Victoria University and supervising students completing the Bachelor of Health Science course. Linda is an active and prominent member of the Australian Society of Dermal Clinicians, currently holding the position of General Secretary.

Linda has extensive experience, initially working at a prominent Skin Health and Cosmetic Clinic in Muenster, Germany, in close association with Dermatologists and Plastic Surgeons. After arriving in Australia in 2008, Linda continued her professional activity in many areas of skin therapy, including comprehensive skin care, laser and intense pulsed light treatment. She has continued to expand her expertise and excellence and strives to achieve optimal results and maximum patient satisfaction.

Her specialist skills include treating aging skin, solar damage, management of rosacea and acne, scar minimisation, treatment of leg veins and vascular disorders, as well as advanced laser therapy for nail onychomycosis (fungal infections) and warts on hands and feet.

Senior Medical Receptionist
Linda is our knowledgeable Practice Manager who has been with the MHV clinic since its commencement. Linda has worked for many years in the health care industry, and has extensive experience in patient contact. Aside from coordinating the busy reception desk, Linda also works at the Sandringham Hospital Emergency Department.

Sophie has been working at the clinic since 2010. In that time she has completed a Bachelor of Science at the University of Melbourne, and Postgraduate Diploma of Psychology at Monash University. She looks forward to continuing her studies in Clinical Psychology.

Tori has been working at the clinic since 2013, and is currently completing her final year of her Bachelor of Science at the University of Melbourne, majoring in Physiology. She is an active sportswoman and has an interest is nutrition and dietetics, as well as other fields of health care.
